Nehlie was founded with a simple yet strong driving force: to identify the small challenges in everyday life and solve them with a combination of smart functionality and Scandinavian aesthetics. We believe in the idea of a home where practical solutions don't have to compromise the feeling of harmony.

The journey began four years ago in an apartment in Stockholm. In a small hallway, the stroller quickly became an obstacle, especially during the wet months. We needed a way to move the stroller so our child could continue sleeping, or easily roll it away when we had guests, but as soon as the wheels were dirty, we were confined to the doormat to avoid damaging the floors.

It was then and there that the idea for our first innovation, Strolly, was born. We sought a solution that protected the home and at the same time gave us the freedom to move the stroller to where it best suited the moment. When we couldn't find it, the decision was made to create it ourselves.

From a need to a vision

What started as a sketch at the kitchen table has, over four years, grown into a patent-pending innovation. But for us, Strolly is just the beginning. Nehlie is our platform to continue exploring how we can improve the details of everyday life.

We are driven by finding those moments where functionality is lacking and creating objects that are made to last, both visually and functionally. Our vision is that every product bearing the Nehlie name should contribute to a smoother and more balanced life at home.

The journey ahead

Throughout the entire journey, our children have been our greatest inspiration and the ones who have given us perspective on what truly makes a difference. Going from the initial frustration in the hallway to now having a finished product has required patience and persistence, but above all, a belief that more people are looking for the same simplicity that we are.
